Two passionate people who care about developing Athletes in Body and Mind

to impact people with the transformative experience of cycling

Cycling changes lives, and that frame of mind defines our coaching philosophy.

We say that firsthand as two people who found each other — and ourselves — through the sport of cycling. Between the two of us, we have overcome cancer, traveled and experienced different cultures, brought twin sons into the world, and have lived as a family on a shoestring budget, full-time in an RV.

We aim to captivate the imagination of others by painting a future of where the bike can lead you. Life doesn’t have to be perfect, (and you don’t have to be an elite athlete), to experience working with a coach.

But to impact change in your life, you must say YES to activities outside of your comfort zone, and that’s where we step in — balancing your healthiest life while pushing you to be the best you can possibly be.

Ernie raced professionally on the road for years. He's racked up national titles in Mexico, competed internationally in renowned races like GP Plouay and Tour de L'avenir. He is a testicular cancer survivor.

Scotti grew up a runner, but now has over 6 years of experience in women's pro road after having their twins, Eli and Ethan in 2011. Scotti has raced in women's world tour events like la Course, Tour Down Under, 2x Giro Rosa, Amgen Tour of California, and numerous other international tours. She is looking to expand her cycling repertoire to include marathon mountain biking and gravel events for 2019, on top of racing pro road.

In August of 2019, the Lechugas won the pairs division of the Silk Road Mountain Race, and now plan to share their experiences of ultra racing as part of their coaching services.

The four glyphs of Leborne represent what the Lechugas believe are key fundamentals of the cycling experience. In turn, they hope to provide and inspire in every athlete:
