meet ernie and scotti lechuga.
Two bad ass cyclists with a mission to grow endurance sports.
Choosing inspiration over competition for a stronger, healthier cycling community
ernie and scotti founded leborne to share their passion and experience in endurance sport. they focus on keeping athletes well-rounded -- having kids of their own while traveling and racing professionally, they understand life balance, realistic training expectations, and the process of pushing hard and recovering well.
ernie raced professionally on the road for years. he's racked up national titles in mexico, competed internationally in renowned races like GP Plouay and Tour de L'avenir. He is a testicular cancer survivor.
scotti grew up a runner, but now has over 6 years of experience in women's pro road after having their twins, eli and ethan in 2011. scotti has raced in women's world tour events like la Course, Tour Down Under, 2x Giro Rosa, Amgen Tour of California, and numerous other international tours. she is looking to expand her cycling repertoire to include mountain biking and gravel events this year.
the four glyphs of leborne represent what the lechugas believe are key fundamentals of the cycling experience. in turn, they hope to provide and inspire in every athlete:
