what is natural state rock & republic?
natural state Rock & Republic is the brainchild of Leborne Coaching. Coaches Scotti & Ernie Lechuga are taking things to a new level and are starting an all-surface program in an effort to build the “dirt” community in Arkansas. Whether you have goals to participate in National-renowned epic gravel races, or simply want to build your fitness on the amazing Arkansas terrain, there’s a place for you.

focusing on all-road terrain in a group setting, we want to help you transition from pavement to dirt. whether you have tons of experience or none at all, the dirt squad is open to all seeking adventure and challenge on a bike. without being exclusive, we hope to gather like-minded people who genuinely want to push themselves to rugged limits. the club will operate seasonally, with two seasons each year. natural state rock and republic centers around months "mini epic" (explained below) as featured training events to lead up to our seasonal "big epic". your membership includes:

don't let the name "mini" fool you.
"mini epics" are going to be 100k+ rides of endurance mixed-terrain. still plan for a big day on the bike.
example ride format:
route distributed a couple of days before (Strava)
everyone rider responsible for bringing flat repair kits, hydration, and ride snacks.
every squad member can expect a support vehicle following the ride
coaching stops along the way at check-ins for practical/tactical knowledge
participants are to meet 60 min prior to start time for prep, meeting, bike check, and any questions.
the big epic
the big epic is just that...a crazy challenging ride that encompasses some of the best mixed-surface roads arkansas has to offer.
run as a team-event, riders start with teams of 5 and must finish with all 5. teams will compete in a grueling 200k race with intermediate challenge points. go for the overall, or set up teammates to win the strava challenge segments.
